Founder and CEO Falk Momentum, ESG-Compliance Consultancy

Wednesday, 12.03.2025, 18.00–20.00 (s. t.)

In this talk, Max Jungmann presents practical approaches to interdisciplinary teaching in the field of sustainability. He illustrates how interactive and solution-oriented formats enable students to master complex sustainability problems through systemic thinking and creative methods. In this context, innovation management, design thinking, and agile strategy development play a central role.
Using concepts and learning experiences that have proven successful in various seminars, Dr. Jungmann will show how teaching formats can be designed not only to impart knowledge, but to specifically foster problem-solving skills and entrepreneurial thinking. To do so, he draws on experiences from simulation and scenario workshops, media seminars, innovation management projects, and seminars on methods of strategy development in which students developed proposals for Heidelberg University's sustainability strategy.
The talk is aimed at teachers, researchers, and practitioners looking to design interdisciplinary educational formats with a clear purpose and impact. In an interactive exchange, participants will learn how to incorporate innovation methods and strategic approaches into their own teaching – be it in university courses, company workshops, or cross-sector projects. The goal is to design sustainability education in a manner that leads to transformative effects and initiates tangible change.
